Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental care team. Schedule (PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME) MONDAY-THURSDAY: FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE (1-4 DAYS) Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to prevent dental disease. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits to maintain long-term oral health. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing treatment areas and managing dental instruments efficiently. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Review patient medical histories and update records accurately to support personalized treatment plans. Provide postoperative instructions and answer patient questions regarding oral health maintenance. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with team members to improve patient experience and promote a positive, professional atmosphere. Skills Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations. Proficiency in dental radiography, periodontal assessment, and prophylaxis procedures. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Knowledge of current best practices in oral health prevention and patient education strategies. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing patient records and clinical supplies.
