What You'll Love About Our Practice Supportive doctors who truly value and trust their hygienists A welcoming, team-oriented culture where everyone works together Ongoing coaching and opportunities for professional growth Part-time or full-time opportunities available Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including health history review, periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide Provide preventive care including scaling, prophylaxis, sealants, and fluoride treatments Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care Identify periodontal disease, caries, and other oral health concerns Collaborate closely with the doctors to develop individualized treatment recommendations Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance Assist with sterilization and support the clinical team as needed Qualifications Current Alabama Dental Hygiene License Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Passion for patient education and relationship-building Team player with a growth mindset Comfortable using digital technology (OpenDental experience is a plus) Compensation & Benefits Pay: $27–$32 per hour Benefits include: Paid Time Off 9 Paid Holidays (Paid even if the holiday falls on a day we are closed) Dental Insurance Weekly Bonuses (production based) Uniform Allowance CE reimbursement Gym Membership We'd Love to Meet You!
