Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Dentist 2 to 3 days a week. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis. Conduct various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics treatments. Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control measures to ensure a sterile clinical environment. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to pediatric and adult patients. Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain proficiency in dental fabrication processes and utilize dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for documentation. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and stay updated on advancements in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. Skills Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques. Proven experience in dental office operations within a clinical setting. Strong background in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures efficiently. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately. Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
