Job Details Dental Assistant. Location: NEW YORK, NY 10024 A dental office in the Upper West Side is looking for an Experienced Dental Assistant to join their team. The responsibilities of the job include proficiently handling digital X-rays (using Dentrix/Sota Imaging), sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, restocking and cleaning patient rooms before and after appointments, checking inventory, pouring models, seating patients, and more. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and at least one year of experience working in the dental field. Knowledge of Dentrix and scanning is a must. The perfect candidate MUST have one year of prior experience with ITERO SCANNING and ZOOM WHITENING. Additional skills for candidates should include: proficiency in four-handed dentistry, flexibility in schedule, ability to follow-up with patients, and awareness of a wide breadth of procedures (restorative, cosmetic, oral surgery, endodontics, etc.) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Dental Assisting: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred) Work Location: In person
