Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with precision and professionalism Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols to assist diagnosis Provide postoperative instructions and answer patient questions to ensure comfort and understanding Maintain sterilization standards and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized and prepared for use Experience Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice Proven experience providing dental hygiene services in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of oral anatomy, periodontal disease management, and infection control procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and connect with diverse patient populations Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team Familiarity with dental software systems for record keeping is preferred Join us in creating healthier smiles every day!
