We are looking for a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant who thrives in a busy office, enjoys working with children, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care. About the Role As a Pediatric Dental Assistant, you will work alongside our doctors and clinical team to provide high-quality dental care while helping children feel comfortable and confident during their visits. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, works well under pressure, and enjoys being part of a supportive team. This is a fast-paced office, so we are looking for someone who is motivated, efficient, and ready to jump in wherever needed. Key Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures. Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures. Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs. Perform expanded functions (if certified). Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and charting. Stock operatories and ensure treatment rooms remain organized. Provide exceptional customer service while creating a positive experience for children and parents. Assist with additional clinical duties as assigned. Qualifications Dental Assisting experience required. Pediatric dental experience preferred. EFDA certification preferred. Current Radiology certification required (or eligible, as applicable). CPR certification required. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic. Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment. Dependable, professional, and eager to learn.
