Position Overview As a Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care by assisting our doctors during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, maintaining sterilization protocols, and helping create a positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during restorative, cosmetic, preventive, and general dental procedures Prepare and organize treatment rooms before each appointment Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards Take high-quality digital X-rays Accurately chart and update patient records in Eaglesoft Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene Monitor and restock clinical supplies as needed Help maintain an efficient patient schedule and clinical workflow Provide exceptional customer service while ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for Work closely with the entire team to maintain a positive, productive office environment Qualifications Dental Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience Current Florida X-Ray Certification (Required) Previous dental assisting experience preferred Experience with Eaglesoft is strongly preferred CPR/BLS certification is a plus Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mentality Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay: $20.00–$23.00 , based on experience Paid holidays and paid time off Opportunities for continuing education and professional development Modern office with advanced dental technology Friendly, supportive, and collaborative team Long-term career growth opportunities A positive workplace focused on quality patient care Why Join Nona Smiles?
