Job Summary Easy Dentist Opportunity – VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) Examiner Opportunity Medical is seeking experienced Dentists (DDS/DMD) to perform VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) dental examinations as independent 1099 contractors. This is an evaluation-only role so dentists do not provide treatment or establish a dentist-patient relationship. The purpose of the exam is to objectively evaluate Veterans mouth and teeth, document findings, complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs), and provide medical opinions when requested. Responsibilities Review Veteran medical and dental records (Opportunity Medical provides organized record reviews and supporting documentation) Perform focused dental examinations, including evaluation of: - Teeth, gums, oral tissues - Missing teeth, bone loss, prosthetics, and implants - Jaw function and TMJ measurements when applicable - Oral injuries, scars, and residuals of trauma or surgery - Functional impact on chewing, speaking, and daily activities ** Complete VA Dental DBQ ** Provide clear medical opinions with supporting rationale when requested Role Details ** Average exam time: approximately 20 minutes ** No treatment required* Flexible scheduling ** Administrative record preparation completed by Opportunity Medical so providers can focus on the clinical evaluation Qualifications **Active DDS/DMD license ** Clinical evaluation and documentation skills ** Ability to provide objective medical opinions Join Opportunity Medical in supporting Veterans by providing high-quality dental evaluations that assist the VA in disability determinations. ***THIS IS DIRECT HIRE- NOT AN AGENCY*** Job Type: Part-time, Flexible, Contract Pay: $100.00 - $200.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: In person
