Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care, focusing on preventive dental hygiene practices. We are looking for a bilingual hygienist. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth. Conduct patient assessments and review medical histories to identify any potential issues. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Assist in the documentation of patient treatments and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in pediatric and general dentistry. Ensure a clean and organized work environment within the dental clinic. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Open Dental Software or similar dental software is a plus. Knowledge of dental assisting practices is beneficial. Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy is essential. Experience in pediatric dentistry is an advantage but not required.
