Dental Hygienist - Lowcountry Dental Associates - Johns Island, SC

Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions - Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed - Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or other dental practice management systems - Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist - Proficient in using Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or similar dental practice management systems - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members - Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity for performing dental procedures accurately and efficiently Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
