Expanded Duties Dental Assistant - Forsyth Dental Partners, Inc - Cumming, GA

** This is not an entry level position. Please do not apply unless you have 3 years of recent chairside experience** We are seeking an assistant who is well spoken, well-organized and has a great attention to detail. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and ability to make clinical procedures go as efficiently as possible while maintaining an elevated level of customer service. Responsibilities Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare patient for treatment Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Follow up with all lab cases sent out Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Fabricate temporary crowns Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental operatory clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, enter and present treatment plans.
