Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) – Periodontal Specialty Practice SKY Periodontics is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our growing periodontal specialty practice. Position Type Full-time (preferred) Competitive pay based on experience Responsibilities Assist the periodontist during periodontal and dental implant procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments and materials are ready for procedures. Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions. Maintain accurate clinical records and charting. Manage inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies. Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment. Collaborate with the clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience. Qualifications Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license. Current CPR/BLS certification. Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Positive attitude and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in periodontics, oral surgery, or implant dentistry is preferred but not required.
