This position is for a dental assistant working primarily with adults ranging in age from 18-90. Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:15am-4:45pm Chairside Clinical Duties Prepare treatment rooms before each patient Seat and prepare patients for treatment Review medical history and update charts Assist the dentist during procedures Pass instruments and maintain a clear operating field with suction Mix and prepare dental materials Take digital radiographs Take intraoral photographs and digital scans Take impressions and pour models Fabricate and adjust temporary restorations and appliances Provide post-operative instructions Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Patient Care Welcome and escort patients Help patients feel comfortable and reduce anxiety Educate patients on oral hygiene Schedule follow-up appointments Explain home care instructions Sterilization & Infection Control Clean and disinfect operatories Sterilize instruments Maintain OSHA and CDC infection control standards Stock PPE and disposable supplies Laboratory Duties Pour and trim study models Prepare cases for dental laboratories Package and ship lab work Track incoming and outgoing lab cases Organize retainers, night guards, and whitening trays Check us out on our website: www.Oneloosetoothdental.com Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
