Dental Hygienist Part Time Wednesday w/ option for Monday - Rocky Mountain Prosthetic Dentistry - Colorado Springs, CO

We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to treat patients and promote good oral health practices for Wednesdays w/ option for Monday. 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Beautiful, comfortable office with your own 2 dental hygiene rooms. Dental Hygienist duties will consist of conducting comprehensive or periodic patient evaluations, periodontal charting, cleaning teeth (oral prophylaxis), bitewings, P.A.s, and/or panoramic radiographs, and fluoride treatments. Our office uses Eaglesoft Software. Good oral prophylaxis is the priority, not selling services. Responsibilities Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Clean and protect patients’ teeth (oral prophylaxis and apply fluoride as needed) Identify conditions such as gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care Take X-rays (Bitewings, P.A.s, and/or Panorex) Sterilize dental instruments properly Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist Outstanding communication skills A friendly personality Valid license to practice Job Type: Part-time Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Education: Associate (Preferred) License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Preferred) Dental License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
