Duties Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization standards are met Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by handing tools, suctioning, and managing patient comfort Take and develop diagnostic radiology images as required for treatment planning Collect blood samples and perform basic medical testing to support diagnosis and treatment processes Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately, documenting patient information, treatment notes, and medical history Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Report patient conditions and respond promptly to any concerns or emergencies during appointments Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within healthcare or dental settings Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and diagnostic radiology procedures Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is required Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems is essential Strong patient service skills with excellent communication abilities to engage clients effectively Manual handling skills for safely managing medical instruments and assisting with patient mobility when needed Prior exposure to acute care environments or plastic surgery clinics is a plus but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene Embark on a rewarding career where your expertise supports exceptional patient care!
