Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and professional EFDA to support our dental team in providing outstanding patient care. In this role, you will assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, perform expanded duties, and ensure that each patient receives the best possible care in a friendly and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dentist with clinical procedures, including restorative and surgical treatments. Perform expanded duties such as placing dental restorations, fabricating crowns, and taking impressions. Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas. Take and develop X-rays as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and other treatment instructions. Manage patient records and update treatment plans as required. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. Provide exceptional customer service and patient care. Qualifications: Current EFDA certification and applicable state licensure. Previous dental assistant experience, preferably in an expanded functions role. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong organizational and time management skills.
