We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and outgoing Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our close-knit team. Responsibilities Provide high-quality clinical assistance to the dentist during various procedures. Utilize Dentrix proficiently for charting, treatment planning, and scheduling. Complete EDDA-specific duties with confidence and precision. Educate patients clearly on their treatment plans and post-op care. Answer patient questions warmly and professionally. Multitask efficiently between chairside assisting, room turnaround, and sterilization. Collaborate seamlessly with front-desk and clinical team members. Requirements Certification : Valid Louisiana EDDA certification is required. Clinical Experience : Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience. Software Experience : Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using Dentrix. Key Traits : Self-reliant, dependable, and highly self-motivated. Soft Skills : Outgoing personality with exceptional communication skills.
