Part-Time Pediatric Dental Assistant Mondays 12:00 PM–5:00 PM & Wednesdays 12:00 PM–5:00 PM We take care of people. We just happen to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. We're looking for an experienced Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team on Monday and Wednesday afternoons . While this is a part-time position, we're looking for someone who wants to become a valued member of our team for years to come. Experience with Pediatric Dentistry and Open Dental is a plus, but character, kindness, and a positive attitude matter just as much. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Chairside assistance during exams, restorative procedures, extractions, and other pediatric dental treatment. Help children feel comfortable and safe throughout their visit. Explain procedures and post-operative instructions to parents in a friendly, understandable way. Take digital dental radiographs. Maintain excellent sterilization and infection control standards. Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies. Document treatment accurately in Open Dental. Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed. Educate children and parents about oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care. Work together with the entire team to create a positive experience for every family. Skills & Qualifications Current Nevada Dental Assisting credentials. Pediatric dental experience preferred. Experience with Open Dental is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
