Responsibilities Prepare treatment areas by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with chairside assisting techniques. Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Support dental sterilization procedures to ensure all dental instruments meet aseptic technique standards for infection control. Collaborate with the team to manage patient flow using patient management software, ensuring smooth scheduling and timely treatment delivery. Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic environment is highly preferred, especially with general dentistry. Hands-on experience with dental equipment including X-ray machines, intraoral cameras, 3D scanners, and other clinical tools is advantageous. Knowledge of infection prevention protocols such as healthcare infection prevention and control expertise is required to uphold safety standards. Familiarity with Dentrix, will enable seamless integration into our clinical workflow. Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral structures and oral surgery procedures enhances your ability to assist effectively.
