Dental Assistant II (DA II) - Full Time Apex Dental - Clover, SC Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour + Benefits Join Our Team: Apex Dental is a patient-focused family dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and supportive environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Dental Assistant II (DA II) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience. Responsibilities: Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after treatment. Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays). Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines. Take dental impressions and assist with various clinical procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Support front office operations as needed, including scheduling appointments and communicating with patients. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment. Qualifications: Required: Active Dental Assistant II (DA II) certification. Current X-Ray certification. Current CPR certification. Previous dental assisting experience. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience with dental practice management software.
