Dental Assistant Position- Surgical IV Assistant preferred Full-time We are a unique, busy, and patient-oriented dental practice searching for an enthusiastic dental assistant. We are looking for a dental assitant with minimum 2 years experience. The position would be 4 to 5 days per week. Pay will be depending on experience. We need someone to be available Mondays thru Thursday with occasional Fridays. Our dental practice is a fast paced, dynamic and a highly skilled office looking for a dental assistant to fit our team. Our position available requires one to assist for all dental procedures (i.e. fillings, root canals, crowns/bridges and extractions, IV Sedation, Implant dentistry, Cerec). We are willing to train in unfamiliar dental procedures if needed. Requirements: *Must have excellent communication skills, ability to explain dental procedures, professional bedside manner *Must be detail oriented, staying a step ahead of their doctor with assisting, going above and beyond for the patient's best interest and their care. **A strong comprehension of accurate chart notes is very important. Must be organized and structured, able to setup for procedures, understanding of the schedule and efficiency *Chairside assisting: fillings, crown & bridge along w/ temporary crown fabrication, RCT’s, extractions, hygiene perio assessment, willingness to learn *Cerec knowledge is a PLUS; creating lab cases, scanning patients for crowns/bridges *Eaglesoft knowledge; adding/removing treatment, creating notes, creating lab cases *Confidence in assisting skills and knowledge of helping their doctor with the flow of the schedule *Washington State Anesthesia Monitoring Training and Certificate a PLUS, **or willingness to get *A current Washington State RDA and current CPR required upon hiring date.
