Oral Surgery Assistant

About the Role
Wilshire Oral Surgery is looking for a dependable, team-oriented Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our back-office team.
No prior oral surgery experience is necessary—we are excited to train the right candidate who has a great attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to learn surgical assisting.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures and consultations

Prepare, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and treatment rooms

Take digital X-rays / 3D scans and record patient vitals

Guide patients through pre- and post-operative care instructions

Maintain a clean, compliant, and well-stocked clinical workspace
Qualifications

Active DA or RDA certification

Current CPR/BLS certification and X-Ray certificate is a plus

Excellent chairside manner and attention to detail

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
