Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. To include specialized areas such as prosthodontics .pediatric dentistry and oral surgery . Perform dental imaging tasks, which includes taking quality X-rays, while adhering to safety protocols. Assisting with treatment planning and dental charting Prepare treatment rooms for various procedures and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. sterilizing instruments while following proper infection control techniques. performing coronal polishing Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. fabricating temporary crowns and performing intraoral scanning. Taking inventory and ordering supplies Skills Proficiency in dental imaging techniques Strong organizational and computer skills for managing medical documentation and records. Experience in assisting with various dental procedures to include, restorative dentistry (pediatric and adult), extractions, prosthodontics Familiarity with appointment scheduling and patient communication Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism.
