White Mountain Periodontics, PLLC is looking for a Dental Assistant for our Show Low, AZ office. We are a private dental periodontal practice that is committed to making a difference in our patients' lives through superior patient care and creative, quality, private dental treatment. Job Summary: The primary purpose of the Dental Assistant is to provide quality, friendly, and timely patient care. This position requires the ability to work well in a team environment while providing minimal supervision. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for assisting the dentist in all aspects of patient care. Essential Job Functions: Assist dentist with various tasks related to patient care and treatment procedures Prepare and assist in the sterilization of instruments, equipment, and rooms where dental treatment is performed Take x-rays and prepare patients for their treatments Provide accurate, detailed and timely documentation of patient care activities; including but not limited to; charting, patient charts Assist dentists in preparing patients for their appointments and treatments Clean and maintain patient rooms; including but not limited to; sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, etc. Work cooperatively with team members and the team members from other referring dental practices Other duties as assigned by manager Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently Communication skills both written & verbal Customer service skills with the ability to maintain professionalism in all situations Professional appearance & attitude Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: On-the-job training Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
