The Lead Dental Assistant plays a key role in supporting clinical excellence, maintaining efficient workflows, and ensuring our patients receive outstanding care. Lead Dental Assistants commonly oversee clinical operations, assist with training, maintain inventory, and support the doctor during a wide variety of procedures. What You'll Do Lead and mentor the dental assisting team Assist Dr. Johnson during a variety of dental procedures Ensure operatories are properly prepared and maintained Oversee sterilization and infection control protocols Coordinate clinical workflow to keep the schedule running efficiently Assist with supply ordering and inventory management Train and support new team members Take diagnostic radiographs and intraoral images Provide exceptional patient education and support Maintain accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Current Washington State Dental Assistant registration Current CPR certification Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience with dentures, implant dentistry, oral surgery, or prosthodontics is highly preferred Positive attitude and a willingness to help others succeed What We're Looking For You are: A natural leader who enjoys coaching and mentoring others Dependable and accountable Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care Committed to continuous growth and learning Schedule Monday – Thursday Full-time position with a four-day work week.
