Dental Assistant - Full Time or Part Time (Specialty Office in Poway) - Pomerado Endodontics - Poway, CA

Overview We are looking for a kind, caring, and dependable dental assistant who is committed to learning, takes pride in providing an amazing experience for patients, and wants to be a part of our close-knit work family. The position has flexible scheduling ranging from 2 to 5 days per week (M-F). $25-$30/hr – depending on experience Job Requirements: CA radiograph certificate (Radiation Safety)*** must have CPR/BLS DA Certificate 1-2 years of dental experience (endodontic experience preferred) Speaks Spanish strongly preferred Duties Four-handed dentistry: Chair-side assisting Endodonist in root canal treatment, retreatment, and surgery (six-handed) Take 2D and 3D X-ray images with accuracy and efficiency Provide pre and post ops care instructions and address patients’ needs Breakdown, disinfect, and setup treatment rooms with efficiency Take vital signs and record medical and dental histories using digital software Sterilize instruments and equipment Skills : Quick learner who can take initiative.
