Premier Dental of Branchburg | Branchburg, NJ Up to $35 per hour + monthly performance bonuses + procedure bonuses Premier Dental of Branchburg is looking for an exceptional, highly experienced Registered Dental Assistant who wants more than an ordinary assisting job. We are not simply looking for someone who knows how to assist a dentist. We are looking for a proactive, fast-paced professional who takes ownership of the clinical day, anticipates problems before they happen, and helps keep the entire office organized and running on time. This position is designed for an experienced RDA who wants to be recognized, rewarded, and treated as a key member of the practice. What Success Looks Like Our ideal candidate: Moves with urgency and thrives in a busy dental environment Takes personal ownership of keeping the clinical schedule on time Prepares rooms completely and promptly without needing to be reminded Reviews the next dayâs schedule in advance and identifies missing information, supplies, or lab cases Confirms that crowns, dentures, aligners, night guards, and other lab cases have arrived before the patientâs appointment Anticipates the doctorâs needs and is ready before being asked Notices disorganization and fixes it instead of walking past it Communicates immediately when something could delay or disrupt patient care Helps establish systems that prevent recurring problems Holds themselves and the clinical team to a high standard Treats every patientâs time as valuable You should be comfortable stepping forward, making decisions within your role, and helping lead the clinical flow of the office. Responsibilities Provide excellent chairside assistance during general, restorative, cosmetic, surgical, implant, endodontic, and other dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before each patient Maintain efficient patient flow and help the doctor remain on schedule Review upcoming appointments and confirm that all required lab cases, records, scans, supplies, and treatment materials are ready Track outstanding lab cases and follow up before they become same-day emergencies Take accurate digital X-rays, photographs, impressions, and intraoral scans Assist with clear aligner cases and other advanced procedures Maintain proper sterilization, infection-control, and OSHA standards Accurately document clinical information and treatment notes Monitor clinical inventory and order supplies before shortages occur Communicate closely with the front-office and clinical teams Help train and support other assistants when appropriate Identify workflow problems and recommend practical solutions Required Qualifications Current New Jersey Registered Dental Assistant credential Current New Jersey dental radiologic technology license At least five years of meaningful dental-assisting experience strongly preferred Strong chairside skills and knowledge of common dental procedures Experience with digital dentistry, intraoral scanning, and lab-case management Excellent organizational and communication skills Dependable, punctual, energetic, and highly accountable Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing patient care or attention to detail This is not the right position for someone who needs to be repeatedly reminded about room setup, lab cases, patient flow, or routine responsibilities.
