Sheets Family Dentistry is looking for an amazing Dental Assistant to join our Jackson Dental Practice. Our ideal candidate will have an energetic, positive attitude. A desire to make patients feel welcome, and comfortable before, during, and after their dental treatment. Prior Dental Assisting Experience Preferred. Job Type: Full-Time / Monday – Thursday from 6:30am-4pm Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): - Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures. - Prepare and sterilize instruments and other equipment in compliance with OSHA standards and CDC guidelines. - Take dental radiographs (x-rays). - Take patients’ medical history, blood pressure, and pulse. - Provide patients with pre/post OP instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures. - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health. - Scan patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth). - Send out and monitor lab cases. - Chart/enter treatment into Denticon. - Help to ensure the office stays clean and safe for our patients and the team. - Assist the front office team with light administrative tasks. **** **** **** If you meet our expectations and are ready to join our fun and caring team, we want to meet you!
