Registered Dental Hygienist - Andrew J Peterson DDS PLC - Marquette, MI

Our office is looking for a registered dental hygienist 4 days per week. Our current hygienist is moving- TO FLORIDA! This would start Mid Sept/October. The hours are from 7:30am-3:30pm. (first patient at 8am) Mon- Thurs so you'll always have a 3 day weekend. We are looking for applicants with great communication skills, a team oriented mindset, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities : Assisting team with equipment set-up, breakdown, and sterilization Provide dental education to patients regarding tooth care and diet Take all reasonable methods to ensure patient comfort Remove plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth Must be comfortable taking digital x-rays Charting patient records as needed; update all medical records as necessary Prophy, Perio, SC/RP, Explaining treatment plans and detailed note taking required. Maintain license with appropriate Continuing Education Qualifications : Must hold active RDH license and x-ray certification We are a small unique office located on Third Street.
