Dental Hygienist - Prestige Family Dental - Shelby Charter Township, MI

Job Summary: Prestige Family Dental is looking for a friendly, caring, and dependable Dental Hygienist to join our private practice in Shelby Township. We are looking for a hygienist to work 2 days per week to start, with the opportunity to grow to 3–4 days per week as our practice continues to grow. We offer flexibility with scheduling and are happy to discuss which weekdays work best for the right candidate. Pay: $41–$50+ per hour, depending on experience Our goal is to provide excellent patient care in a supportive, comfortable environment. What You'll Do Provide thorough dental cleanings, periodontal care, polishing, and fluoride treatments. Review medical and dental histories and assess patients' oral health. Take digital X-rays and perform periodontal charting as needed. Perform iTero digital scans as part of routine patient care and clinical documentation. Educate patients about oral hygiene, preventive care, and maintaining good oral health. Identify areas of concern and communicate clinical findings with the dentist. Maintain accurate and complete patient records. Follow proper infection-control and sterilization protocols. Work collaboratively with the doctor and dental team to provide an excellent patient experience. Qualifications Active Michigan Dental Hygienist license required. New graduates and experienced hygienists are welcome to apply. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented. Comfortable taking digital X-rays and providing comprehensive hygiene care. Willing and able to perform iTero digital scanning as part of the hygiene appointment. Previous iTero experience is preferred; training can be provided for the right candidate. EagleSoft experience is a plus, but not required.
