Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient procedures Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and providing necessary support Collect patient information, including medical history updates and current health concerns, to ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems Take diagnostic radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist while maintaining safety protocols for radiation exposure Perform blood sampling and other basic diagnostic tests when required to support comprehensive patient assessments Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and health education topics to promote overall dental wellness Report patient conditions accurately to the dental team and document all procedures thoroughly in medical records Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within a healthcare or dental setting Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and clinical workflows including surgical assistance and diagnostic radiology Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations Experience with electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems for efficient documentation and data retrieval Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and external healthcare providers Ability to handle manual tasks such as instrument sterilization, patient positioning, and clinic equipment handling with precision and care Prior experience with acute care or plastic surgery settings is a plus but not mandatory Join us to make a meaningful difference in patientsâ lives through compassionate care and clinical excellence.
