Job Summary We have a job opening for a dental assistant to join our private orthodontic practice in beautiful Rancho Santa Fe! Responsibilities include: Clinical: Greeting and seating patients for treatment Sterilizing instruments and disinfecting operatories Intraoral scanning Taking x-rays and photographs Tying and untying archwires Chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry techniques Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure instructions Administrative: Answering phones Scheduling appointments Collecting payments Helping maintain a smooth and welcoming patient experience Ideal candidate: Friendly, warm, and professional Detail-oriented and dependable Willing to learn both clinical and front-office duties Able to multitask in a busy orthodontic setting Dental assisting training preferred, but not required The position starts at 3 days/week with opportunity for more days if desired.
