Dental Assistant (Part-Time) | Joyce Lam Dental Joyce Lam Dental, a general dentistry practice in San Jose, CA (95124), is seeking a dental assistant to join our team, primarily supporting chairside duties. New grads welcome â no experience necessary, will train the right person. We're looking for someone who's a quick learner, reliable, and eager to grow in a supportive, patient-focused practice. Responsibilities: Sterilize and organize instruments per OSHA/CDC standards Take and process digital X-rays Prepare treatment rooms and set up for procedures Assist chairside during restorative, endodontic, and periodontal procedures Perform dental charting (we use OpenDental) Monitor inventory and restock supplies Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the office Qualifications: Dental Assistant license/permit or willingness to obtain one (RDA a plus, not required) Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Punctual, detail-oriented, and professional Strong multitasking and organizational skills Friendly, calm, and comfortable with patient interactions Flexible and willing to learn and grow with the practice Bilingual English/Cantonese or Mandarin a plus, not required Schedule: WednesdayâSaturday, 8:00 AMâ5:00 PM (please include your availability when applying) Pay: $20â$26/hour, DOE Benefits: 401(k) with employer contributions after 1 year of employment Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Free parking On-the-job training Paid sick time Paid time off Uniform allowance Work Location: In person
