Crystal Clear Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a friendly, dependable, and enthusiastic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. Responsibilities Welcome and help children and parents feel comfortable throughout their visit. Assist the pediatric dentist during examinations and dental procedures using four-handed dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms before and after each patient. Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with Delaware regulations. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards following OSHA and CDC guidelines. Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-operative instructions. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes. Ensure operatories are fully stocked and organized. Assist with scheduling, charting, and other clinical duties as needed. Work closely with the entire team to provide outstanding patient experiences. Be comfortable learning orthodontic adjustments Qualifications Current Delaware Dental Radiation (X-ray) Certification. Previous dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus. CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain). Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and sterilization procedures. Strong organizational and communication skills. Personal Qualities Positive, friendly, and caring attitude.
