Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. Responsibilities: - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist the dentist during procedures as needed - Take and record patient medical and dental histories - Prepare materials for impressions and restorations - Educate patients on proper oral healthcare - Perform various office tasks as needed Qualifications: - X-Rays, panorex, cat scan Itero scan. - Proficiency in dental terminology - Experience with Dentrix - Ability to assist in pediatric surgical procedures - Competency in charting in Dentrix I primarily work solo for my procedures , using the DA to assist when needed. Generally , once the treatment room is set up for the procedure the DA is free to handle all of the other tasks .; seating patients , taking necessary x rays , dismissing patients , breakdown and setup of the rooms , sterilizing instruments and preparing setups and maintaining proper inventory. I deliver all phases of Dentistry. Oral surgery, endodontics , clear Aligners, Implants , singles and All on X, Restorative and Cosmetic. I have a CT scan ( Vatek) and an Itero scanner and digital X-rays. We use Dentrix Software. You must speak spanish and english fluently Must have at least 2 years experience. Must be organized, neat and appreciate a clean workplace. Basic DA tasks ; taking xrays , panorex, cat scan, setup rooms , breakdown rooms, sterilize instruments , maintain proper inventory , learn workflow of procedures. Know about dental instruments and their usage. Must be punctual and reliable . Preferably live near the Office , so as to avoid traffic excuses of lateness. .
