Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Location: Toms River, NJ Pay: $25.00–$35.00 per hour (based on experience) Job Type: Part-Time with Opportunity to Transition to Full-Time Expected Hours: 20–40 hours per week Join a Modern Private Dental Practice We are seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant to join a brand-new, modern private dental practice in Toms River, NJ. We're looking for someone who is dependable, positive, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys making patients feel comfortable and cared for. Responsibilities Chairside assisting for a wide variety of general dentistry procedures Prepare and break down operatories efficiently Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Maintain accurate clinical records Sterilize instruments and follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, endodontic, extractions, implants, and other general dentistry procedures Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene Monitor inventory and maintain clinical supplies Work closely with the doctor and front office to provide a seamless patient experience Qualifications 1+ year of dental assisting experience preferred Current X-ray certification required Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification is a plus Experience with digital dentistry, intraoral scanners, or CBCT is a plus Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Professional, dependable, and team-oriented Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow Benefits Competitive hourly pay Paid Time Off (PTO) Employee dental benefits Flexible scheduling Performance-based bonuses Opportunities for advancement Supportive and positive team environment Opportunity to transition into a full-time position as the practice grows Why Join Us?
