Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team at Buckeye Dental and Braces. Tue and Thurs @ Avon Location, Wed and Fri @our Valley City Office 1 saturday a month @ each location This position requires proficiency in various dental practices, including chairside assisting, infection control, and familiarity with EMR systems. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing chairside support. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques. Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient flow and assist with scheduling appointments as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Conduct preliminary assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history. Utilize dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for patient management. Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.
