Practice at Dental Services – Open Door Community Health Centers As a Dentist, you'll practice at the full scope of general dentistry to all ages while developing meaningful, long-term relationships with your patients. You'll provide preventive, diagnostic, restorative, and urgent dental care for individuals with diverse and often complex oral health needs. Working alongside interdisciplinary colleagues, you'll help address the social, behavioral, and medical factors that impact oral health while improving access to quality dental care in a community that truly values your work. Live in Crescent City, California Located in the coastal community of Crescent City in Del Norte County, this area is defined by its beautiful bay, surrounding redwoods, and strong sense of community. Residents, alongside neighboring Tribal communities, are deeply engaged in strengthening and supporting the region. The community is supported by a local hospital system, regional air service, and proximity to southern Oregon, offering connectivity while maintaining a small-town coastal feel. Education & Experience Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school Completion of an accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program preferred Two to five years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in community health, public health, rural practice, or caring for underserved populations CAP-exempt visa sponsorship available Opportunity to participate in our optional one-year AEGD Residency Program with NYU Langone which holds an 80% post-residency retention rate at ODCHC Required Licensure & Certifications Prior to employment, candidates must possess: Current, unrestricted California dental license Current DEA registration Current CPR/BLS certification Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record Comprehensive Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plans Provider professional expense account Custom dental loupes Sign-on bonus Relocation assistance Retention bonus Paid sabbatical program Eligible for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment (up to $250,000 for qualifying providers) Compensation: $201,104.48 to $230,262.41 Make a Difference in a Community That Values You Take a Walk on the Coast
