Duties Perform root canal treatments and other endodontic procedures with precision and care, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, to develop appropriate treatment plans. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care and treatment strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Utilize dental imaging and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and plan effective interventions. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Communicate clearly with patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care instructions. Skills Proficiency in endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, dental diagnosis, and infection control practices. Experience with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis. Ability to perform general dentistry tasks when needed, including dental extractions and oral surgery. Skilled in dental fabrication techniques and prosthodontics as they relate to endodontic treatments. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles for treating younger patients when necessary. Excellent client communication skills coupled with a professional attitude towards patient care.
