Responsibilities Welcome patients into the Treatment and Hygiene area and make them feel comfortable Take digital radiographs Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain organized operatories Assist the dentist during procedures and exams Assist with nitrous oxide procedure, prophylaxis cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and restorative treatments Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required; pediatric dental experience preferred Current Dental Assisting certification Current CPR certification Current Radiology certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Dependable, punctual, and team oriented Passionate for providing outstanding customer service to children and their families
