Registered Dental Hygienist - Dental Health of Wheaton - Wheaton, IL

Established general dentistry practice in Wheaton, Illinois, seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist for one or two days per week or Saturdays only. Responsibilities Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g., remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care X-rays Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene Valid license Job Type: Part-time Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Education: Associate (Preferred) Work Location: In person
