THIS JOB IS PART TIME-MONDAY, TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY FROM 7:30AM-5:15PM. About us Only candidates with work or education experience in Dentistry will be considered. (Dental experience must be vocational or educational. Going to the dentist or knowing people in the dental field is not considered experience.) The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, be trainable, friendly and able to get along well with co-workers and patients. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, have good verbal and written communication skills, be able to collect money, and have an ongoing interest in learning and expanding knowledge of the dental field. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal back-ground check and a drug test. Dental experience is preferred. Those with significant dental office work or dental management experience may be considered for a higher paying, full time position. Specific duties of this position will include: answering phones greeting patients collecting information from patients using correct dental terminology and coding, WHICH REQUIRES DENTAL KNOWLEDGE/TRAINING calling patients to gather information collecting patient payments scheduling patients for the best use of practitioners' time, WHICH REQUIRES DENTAL EXPERIENCE discussing payment for upcoming treatment with patients sending and receiving x-rays and referral information making phone calls to keep the schedule fully booked documenting conversations with patients and insurance companies adhering to OSHA and HIPAA rules Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour Benefits: Continuing education credits Employee discount On-the-job training Retirement plan Uniform allowance Application Question(s): What type of dental experience do you have?
