Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Comprehensive Dental Care – Crown Point, IN Comprehensive Dental Care is looking for a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team. Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Full benefits package including: Medical insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Internal employee dental plan Paid time off Paid holidays 401(k) with employer match Health Savings Account Uniform allowance What You'll Do Assist the doctor chairside during a wide range of procedures Set up and break down treatment rooms Take dental radiographs Maintain accurate clinical records Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and CDC compliance Provide patient education and post treatment instructions Help create a smooth patient flow and positive experience Support hygiene when needed Manage lab cases and follow up on deliveries Expanded Functions Responsibilities Place and contour composite restorations (per Indiana EFDA guidelines) Assist with temporary crowns and restorations Take impressions and fabricate temporaries as permitted Perform coronal polishing Assist with additional expanded duties allowed under Indiana EFDA regulations What We're Looking For Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in Indiana Dental assisting experience required Strong clinical skills and attention to detail Positive team attitude Strong communication skills with patients and team Reliable and professional work ethic Someone looking for a long term opportunity If you want to work in a practice where your skills are respected and your team supports you, we would love to talk with you.
