Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary choices, and preventive care strategies Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency Provide patient comfort measures and ensure a positive experience throughout their visit Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and documentation in compliance with health regulations Sterilize dental instruments and ensure all clinical areas adhere to infection control protocols Experience Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional licensing requirements Proven experience delivering high-quality dental hygiene services in a fast-paced clinical setting Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, infection control standards, and radiographic techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach Familiarity with Open Dental dental practice management software is preferred but not required Benefits: 401(k) Flexible schedule Health savings account Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Work Location: In person
