Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Bixby, OK
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our brand-new private dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and organize treatment rooms, including sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control protocols. Take dental radiographs (X-rays). Manage medical records and documentation accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to treatment. Provide support in Endodontics and Prosthodontics procedures as required. Serve as a liaison between patients and the dental team, addressing any questions or concerns. Assist with front office duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Skills Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures and familiarity with dental systems. Knowledge of infection control standards and practices in a dental setting. Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records. Ability to perform vital signs assessments competently. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Familiarity with Endodontics and Prosthodontics is preferred but not required. Experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus. A bilingual candidate is preferred but not required!
