Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Fresno, TX

About Hive Dental Hive Dental Fresno is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. Applicants must have at least one year of hands-on dental assisting experience. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently in a busy dental office, communicate professionally with patients, and contribute positively to the clinical team. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures Assist dentists during examinations and treatments Seat patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their appointments Sterilize and properly maintain dental instruments and equipment Clean and turn over operatories between patients Review patient charts and prepare for the daily schedule Accurately enter treatment notes and patient information Provide patients with preoperative and postoperative instructions Maintain clinical supplies and report items that need to be reordered Follow infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety procedures Coordinate with the front-office and clinical teams to maintain efficient patient flow Take dental X-rays when properly registered or certified under Texas requirements Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience High school diploma or equivalent Professional, dependable, and punctual Strong chairside assisting skills Comfortable communicating with patients Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office Ability to work well as part of a team Reliable transportation to Fresno, Texas Registration and Certification Texas Registered Dental Assistant status is preferred. Candidates who are not currently registered must be willing and eligible to obtain the appropriate Texas registration or certification. Candidates who are not properly certified will not be permitted to take dental X-rays until the required credential is obtained. Current CPR certification is preferred. The selected candidate may be required to obtain CPR certification after hire. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant credential Eaglesoft experience Experience working with Medicaid patients Experience with digital X-rays and dental charting Familiarity with dental terminology and common clinical procedures Compensation Pay ranges from $15.00 to $22.00 per hour , depending on experience, registration, certifications, skills, and overall qualifications.
