Now Hiring: Experienced Dental Assistant / Front Desk (Part-Time) We're looking for someone who wants to grow with us! While this position starts as part-time, there is an opportunity to become full-time as our practice continues to grow We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced Dental Assistant/Front Desk team member to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Position: Part-Time Dental Assistant / Front Desk Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of dental experience preferred - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Experience with dental software (Open Dental experience is a plus) - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Professional appearance and attitude - Reliable, punctual, and a team player Responsibilities Include: Front Desk - Greet and check in patients - Answer multi-line phones - Schedule and confirm appointments - Verify dental insurance benefits - Collect copays and patient balances - Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements - Manage patient charts and electronic records - Maintain recall and continuing care schedules - Respond to emails and patient messages Dental Assistant - Assist the doctor during dental procedures - Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms - Sterilize instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines - Take digital X-rays - Record clinical notes - Prepare dental materials and instruments - Provide patient education and post-operative instructions - Take impressions and fabricate temporary restorations (if applicable) - Assist with crown, bridge, root canal, extraction, and restorative procedures - Maintain inventory and order supplies - Ensure operatories remain clean, organized, and fully stocked If you are dependable, motivated, and enjoy providing outstanding patient care, we'd love to hear from you!
