We are looking for a "Rockstar" dental assistant to join a small family friendly office that offers a comfortable work atmosphere, where we care greatly for our patients. Dental assistants should be well-organized and must have excellent communication / customer service skills with great attention to detail. Prefer atleast 2 year experience and must have a great personality and good communication skills. If you are enthusiastic, good team player and want to take great care of our patients then apply right away . Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Schedule appointments Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures Skills Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Knowledge of word / excel / powerpoint Excellent communication and people skills Good social media presence / marketing skills Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduation from dental assistant school Job Type: Part-time Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Work Location: In person
