Duties Assist dentist during a variety of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control standards are maintained Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) and operate digital imaging equipment such as 3D scanners for accurate diagnostics Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic, ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security Monitor vital signs and medical documentation for patients with medical or dental complexities, including pediatrics Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment while adhering to infection control protocols and OSHA guidelines Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic; familiarity with EMR systems is essential Certification in X-ray operation and knowledge of radiographic safety procedures Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization processes Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in various specialties including pediatric dentistry and general dentistry Knowledge of medical coding and documentation standards related to dental procedures Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and team members Flexibility to support multiple roles within the clinic environment including assisting with medical imaging or administrative tasks Join us to make a meaningful difference in patientsâ lives through compassionate care and technical excellence.
