Job Overview Endodontic speciality office seeking a dependable Dental Assistant with great work ethic, energy, and compassion for a multi-doctor practice in Boise. Experience preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of OpenDental is a plus. We are looking for one full time assistant, our hours are Monday through Thursday 7:30-5:00pm Job Types: Full-time Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials for dental procedures Assist dentists during examinations and treatments Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to support patient assessment Manage patient records accurately using electronic health record (EHR) using Open Dental, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide patient education and post-treatment care instructions Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards in accordance with OSHA Taking xrays and CBCT scans Experience Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is highly preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and familiarity with EMR system Open Dental is a plus Hands-on experience assisting Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds Teamwork and a positive attitude is a must =) Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Ability to Commute: Boise, ID 83709 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
